As a leader in the communications training field, KnowledgeLink has developed soft cover primer textbooks on telephony, data communications, and the cable telecommunications industry (formerly known as CATV).  These textbooks are targeted to individuals who need to understand technology, but may not have an extensive technical background.  Most of the pages in the softcover texts contain one concept each, explained by a detailed graphic and short text description. They may be used as individual learning tools, or as the text for classroom instruction.  Each book includes tutorials on the subject matter, and a set of student exercises to test the student's retention of the material.

KnowledgeLink also offers two hardcover textbooks on Digital Techology, DigiPoints Volumes One and Two. These books are more detailed than the primers, and are suitable for classroom instruction. Volume One is a detailed learning tool which brings a student without any previous knowledge of digital data to an understanding of the networks used in data communications, with an emphasis on cable telecommunications. Volume Two is a description of practical digital technologies found in a cable telecommunications system, including high speed data architectures, cable telephony, cable network management, and video servers used for ad insertion, pay per view, and interactive TV..
